If you've NEVER registered a DOI in your Lattes, check our tutorial! This work describes the development of an Intelligent Odor Monitoring System to monitor the gases generated during the composting of organic waste in a company in Pernambuco. The system uses electrochemical sensors to detect toxic and odorous gases, enabling analysis through an online platform connected to IoT components. This enables remote access to the system via computers or mobile devices. The prototype in question was developed with low-cost equipment that is easy to handle and maintain and is capable of detecting CO2, humidity and temperature. In addition, the data collected by the sensors is kept on the cloud storage platform, Blynk. With this, the work highlights the importance of sustainable and technological solutions to promote efficiency in composting and reduce social and environmental impacts.
With nearly 200,000 papers published, Galoá empowers scholars to share and discover cutting-edge research through our streamlined and accessible academic publishing platform.
