Formatting Rules for Posters (PS) (no DOI for abstracts)

Languages: Abstracts must be submitted in Portuguese, Spanish, or English.

Presentation: Poster.

The submission of a poster presentation consists of an abstract that meets the following rules:

The abstracts must contain a minimum of 150 words and a maximum of 450 words, including 3 keywords, on a single A4-sized page.

No references are required for abstract submissions. The format should be the same as the first page of a full paper. The abstracts must be submitted without the authors' names. After the abstract is accepted, a final version with full author information and possible corrections must be submitted. The committee reserves the right to reject posters that are deemed out of format.

Posters selected for exhibition must be in banner format and include a tube and cord for hanging on hooks fixed to the walls. They must be up to 90 cm wide and up to 140 cm high. The production of the material is the sole responsibility of the authors.

Submission Rules for Minicourse Proposals (MC)

Minicourse proposals must provide the subject, a list of the main topics to be covered in three hours, as well as the expected knowledge level of the audience. Proponents must hold a Doctorate degree.

The format should follow the same guidelines as a full paper, with the first page containing the title, name, and affiliation of all proponents, abstract, and keywords. Names not included in this proposal will not appear among the proponents/organizers of the Minicourse in the Symposium’s program.

The proposals must also include: Introduction, Objectives, Topics to be covered, and Basic Bibliography.
