This article analyzes the protest of delivery workers that took place during iFood Move, a corporate event held in August 2025 in São Paulo, as an expression of the structural tensions of platform work. From a qualitative approach, the journalistic article is articulated with theoretical references by Rosana Pinheiro-Machado, Rafael Grohmann, Paulo Nuno Vicente, Stuart Hall and Ricardo Festi. The text discusses the precariousness of work, algorithmic management as a control device, the discourse of autonomy and symbolic invisibility. The empirical case highlights the contradiction between the public image of digital platforms and the material reality of their workers, proposing that such conflicts be interpreted as disputes for recognition and dignity in the platform economy.
