Abstract
Adopting Industry 4.0 techniques is crucial for companies to stay relevant and competitive in the demanding global market of the 21st century. Within the scope of control of the line, the flow of products can be impacted according to the location of the points of decision, directly impacting the daily production of a factory. The study analyzes changes in the positioning of sensors simultaneously in a can industry and proposes the algorithm to increase production, taking into account the physical constraints of the positioning of sensors. Simulation was used, through a model that represents the factory production and the PLC logic of your sensors. In view of the results obtained, it was noticed that the combination of the aforementioned techniques is capable of bringing an increase in production of up to 0.57% in a feasible space of time.
