In a scenario where the concern for business sustainability is mandatory, human resources management aligns with the ability to meet short-term needs without compromising the future ones. Such management goes well beyond the concerns with salaries and benefits, strongly permeating the need to promote and monitor employee’s development. Thus, this study aims to develop a multicriteria model to evaluate the performance of human resources, having as a case study a group of employees from an engineering company. Using the method FITradeoff for ranking, this research highlights the importance of a systematic evaluation, capable of balancing objectivity and subjectivity.
