The most important and effective tool, to date, against outbreaks and pandemics is vaccines. The present study aims to apply Quantum Computing in a database of vaccination against Covid-19 in order to speed up the process of searching for relevant items to authorities and researchers. The vaccination database of the government of the State of São Paulo – Brazil was used for quantum simulations of searches through strings related to municipalities in São Paulo. The results were compared as a classic methodology, demonstrating that the application of the Bernstein-Vazirani algorithm increases the search speed by 89.3%, favoring the monitoring of the distribution of vaccine doses in a more effective and egalitarian way, in addition to being able to be applied to other medical databases, facilitating the search for information to foster scientific research that will positively impact society.
