Abstract

In the aviation industry, the decision-making process is essential to ensure the efficiency and safety of operations. Due to the complexity of this industry, it is crucial to adopt structured approaches that evaluate alternatives and select solutions considering multiple criteria and objectives simultaneously. In this sense, multicriteria decision support techniques stand out as valuable tools. However, no studies were found that present the state of the art on the subject. Therefore, the present study aims to conduct a systematic review of the literature to explore the application of these techniques in decision-making processes in aeronautical engineering. It is expected that the review will provide a detailed and up-to-date view on the use of multicriteria methods in this field, contributing to the continuous improvement of decision-making practices in the aeronautical industry and to the identification of opportunities for future studies in the area.
