Abstract

This research analyzes the process of implementation and management of Integrity and Compliance Practices in public urban passenger transport service companies in Fortaleza (CE), in the light of Federal Law No. 12,846/2013 (Anti-Corruption Law). The approach is qualitative, descriptive, with the application of questionnaires, whose results showed that the process of adequacy of the companies' actions has occurred slowly, since only two companies have a complete Program of Integrity and Compliance Practices, revealing an emergency of adequacy in favor of combating corruption and fraud practices. It is concluded that there is a greater need for implementation and adaptation of Integrity and Compliance Practices, considering that they produce benefits for all stakeholders, also contributing to expand the control of inspections necessary to inhibit acts of corruption or fraud and a more transparent, ethical and efficient environment in the management of public services.
