Abstract

A university is a complex organization that has several processes and involves different profiles, such as students, employees, contractors, and community members. It is not feasible to map all processes, which can generate a lack of information for those involved. And, even with mapped processes, there is difficulty in understanding the modeling used. This paper proposes an alternative to solve this problem, providing a collaborative platform in which the academic community itself contributes with information, expanding the knowledge base of the Institution. For this, free technological resources were used and the insertion of its initial contents extracted both from processes already mapped and manuals intended for servers and students. By the end of 2023, 257 processes were described with the help of 419 registered users. This proposal was evaluated by comparing it with other ways of seeking information in the Institution, in which the results show that the new alternative is superior to the existing ones.
