Aware of the impact of the South Korean Pop movement on the cultural industry and the media, including the television medium, this work aims to understand the challenge of the so-called open TV broadcasters in recovering an audience that, once so well known, has now become changeable and with new interests and consumption habits. Thus, the research seeks to expose an analysis of K-drama consumers in Brazil, based on a qualitative interview to recognize their profile, and later, to look at the import scenario of South Korean media products, as well as to question this movement of forced migration by television stations from streaming to channels, in an attempt to recover their viewers fascinated by new narratives. The theme exposed, in motion at this moment, brings an unprecedented view on the impact of both streaming and series with different plots in the way Brazilian television is consumed.
