This bibliographic and exploratory study analyzes the impacts of AI in this field, highlighting its benefits, challenges, and prospects. Academic publications from the last five years were consulted, enabling us to map advances such as the use of People Analytics and the automation of repetitive tasks. The results indicate that AI contributes to more assertive decisions and cost reductions, but also presents ethical risks related to data privacy and potential algorithmic biases. The conclusion is that the adoption of AI must be accompanied by governance and accountability policies to balance technological innovation and human capital appreciation.
With nearly 200,000 papers published, Galoá empowers scholars to share and discover cutting-edge research through our streamlined and accessible academic publishing platform.
