Introduction: From theneed to managethe waiting listfor referralfor physical therapyand organizethe rehabilitation professionals´swork processof the Family Health Support Group’ were developed and implemented in 2013therehabilitationofgroupslinked tounits havingthe Family Health Strategy. objectives: expandcarecapacity inPrimary Health Care. Qualifythe work the Family Health Support Group’ sphysiotherapistsandoccupationaltherapists. Decreaseunnecessary referralsthrough theregulationof outpatientvacanciessystem(SISREG). Methodology It was madesurvey ofusersbelonging towaitinglistsfor physiotherapy andusersidentified byFamilyHealth teamswithdemandsrelated torehabilitation,such aschronic pain.Thenwe define, inconjunction withphysical and occupational therapists, planning andstandardization ofrehabilitation groups. Groups canhavebetween 10 and 16users,the gatewayisthroughjoint consultations withthe family healthteam.Moreoverthe initial evaluationis made andafter 3 months,the reevaluation.Theoutput portof the rehabilitationgroup is theCariocaAcademyProgram. Results: From themonitoring ofevaluation and revaluationof participantsusersof the groupswe can seeimprovement incases of chronicpain andquality of life.Alsowe observethe strengtheningof matrix supportin rehabilitation,increasingresolutenessof primary careandthe reduction ofwaiting listsfor physiotherapy.
