Abstract

We will discuss some symmetry and dimensionality aspects of the H and H2+ and their implications for atoms and molecules problems.

We will deal with the relevance of the one-electron effective potential approximation in atoms and molecules and its relation with its quasi-separability.

We will also compare some properties of the fundamental forces and show that the electromagnetic force has special characteristics responsible for particular properties of atoms and molecules.
