Modeling the Continuous Bright White Light Emissions by Energy Upconversion in Nanomaterials

Abstract

NIR excitation of some materials with high power density light sources induces white light emission.

This phenomenon’s untold origin motivates the development and implementation of quantitative models.

Our model is based on the power balance equation.

The model considers thermal emission as the main mechanism for white light generation.

Results and comparisons with experimental data suggest quantitative description of all features.

The model can be used to design new and efficient materials and improve experimental conditions.

Olá, Eduardo! Obrigada!
