Abstract

This study presents an exploratory statistical analysis of access to drinking water in Brazilian Indigenous communities, based on data from the Special Indigenous Health Districts (DSEIs) provided by SESAI and IBGE. Charts, descriptive statistics, and correlation analyses were used to identify patterns of water vulnerability across regions. The results reveal significant disparities among DSEIs, with critical cases directly affecting Indigenous people's right to water. The study provides insights to support public policy prioritization and highlights the need for future research using multicriteria approaches to inform decision-making.
