Abstract

Drones are becoming more widespread through commercial applications such as audiovisual
production services, security monitoring, training, agriculture, and others. Selecting a new drone
model adds value to a training company, because it is essential for the company to stand out from
its competitors and attract more customers. Therefore, the objective of this study is to select a drone
model for a training company. The data that compose the mathematical model were obtained
through Data Source Analysis, which also provided support for the choice of the uncertainty
treatment approach. The model used PROMETHEE II and performed a sensitivity analysis based
on Monte Carlo. The recommendation provided a ranking. The sensitivity analysis showed that the
top-ranked drone model maintained the first position in the ranking in 68,50% of simulated cases.
