FITradeoff-GDSS: Group Decision Support System based on the FITradeoff method

This work aims to present the development of a Decision Support System (DSS) based on the FITradeoff method for the context of group decision making. The system retains the fundamental characteristics of FITradeoff - flexibility, interactivity and the ability to work with partial information - while incorporating new mechanisms for aggregating preferences. The approach includes two alternative modes for conducting the elicitation process: simultaneous or independent. The group decision support system, called FITradeoff-GDSS (Group Decision Support System), offers different possibilities for aggregation of preferences, with decision-makers being able to reach an agreement through a participatory process or using analytical aggregation mechanisms (such as voting systems, additive aggregation and decision rules). This paper aims to present the FITradeoff-GDSS, highlighting its main characteristics and functionalities, with a view to improving the group decision process based on the FITradeoff.
