The research used a multicriteria approach to support the decision-making process of selecting the security system to be implemented in the company, taking into account seven criteria analyzed: threat detection rate, false positive rate, implementation time, implementation and maintenance costs, equipment capacity, and impact on latency. The results generated by the use of the MPSI-MARA method made it possible to support a more efficient and strategic choice for the decision-maker, offering a solid solution to support decisions in digital security environments. In summary, the use of the method has helped to reduce operational costs and improve effectiveness in defending against threats, proving to be an efficient approach to selecting cyber defense equipment in organizations.
