The device uses Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) communication to connect to a companion application, expanding its navigation and interaction with the environment. The project seeks to promote greater autonomy and safety through a sensory system that detects obstacles and transmits information through tactile and audible feedback. The proposed solution combines low-cost hardware, embedded sensors and an interface accessible via smartphone, prioritizing usability and portability. The research is in the prototyping phase, with preliminary tests indicating potential for application in urban contexts. This work reinforces the importance of assistive technologies as tools for social inclusion and autonomy for people with visual impairment.
