Abstract

This work proposes an innovative approach for the ABC classification of maintenance spare materials, using the multicriteria CROWM (Communalities on Ranking and Objective Weights Method). The proposal aims to reduce subjectivity in decision-making and improve the prioritization of items based on seven objective criteria: consumption, cost, lead time, installed park, NPR (FMEA), weight and volume. CROWM combines standardization and ranking techniques to create a robust model that is adaptable to operational reality. The results show that the approach allows for an efficient classification, highlighting the most critical items (class A) and promoting a strategic management of the others (classes B and C), with flexibility for continuous updating according to changes in demand and criticality.
