Abstract

This work aims to address the integrated problem of slotting and picking products in the warehouse, based on vehicle routing models, especially CVRP, and organization strategies based on grouping and classification of items. In the slotting stage, a SKU co-occurrence matrix is built from orders and ALS is applied to find intrinsic relationships. In picking, each order is modeled as a node of a CVRP, with positions defined by the centroids of the SKUs and distances calculated by the distance from Manhattan, with routing being resolved by a heuristic of savings under capacity constraints. It is expected that the integration between the stages will reduce the total distance traveled, reflecting the decrease in operational flow.
