MULTICRITERIA ANALYSIS OF GENERATIVE ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE TOOLS IN MUSIC

The present work presents an application of a Multi-criteria Analysis method to evaluate Generative Artificial Intelligence tools for musical creation, examining three text-to-music generation platforms and establishing a ranking among them using the PROMETHEE II method. The methodology involved a literature review, music generation on the chosen platforms, the definition of multiple criteria, the development of an evaluation questionnaire, and the application of the selected method to obtain a ranking from the collected data. Results identified Suno as the best tool, followed by Producer.ai and, finally, Udio, although each stood out in specific criteria. The methodology proved effective, and future studies are recommended to evaluate other tools, using different methods, criteria, and musical styles.
