Efficient document management is a critical factor for the performance of administrative activities within the scope of Military Organizations (OM). In this context, this work proposes the development of a mathematical model of document prioritization, based on concepts of Operational Research and Queuing Theory, with the objective of supporting the decision-making process in the Communications Secretariats. The model considers aspects relevant to the execution of operational activities, incorporating relevant criteria. For its evaluation, real data from documents were used, and computer simulations were performed with different instance sizes. The results obtained indicate superior performance of the model in relation to the methods traditionally used, evidencing its potential to optimize the workflow and improve document management.
