Managing development activities in software projects can be a complex tactical challenge, where allocating tasks to human resources can become a bottleneck. This paper proposes a Mixed Integer Linear Programming (MILP) model for the Software Project Scaling Problem (SPSP), incorporating human factors such as: behavioral profiles (Solides methodology), learning curve, and fatigue due to multitasking cognitive load. The model quantifies communication friction in teamwork and the wear and tear of long precedences. By solving two deterministic scenarios in Gurobi Optimizer, the results suggest that sociotechnical optimization reduces burnout and plans more realistic schedules. The approach gives managers a mathematical tool to balance deadlines, team sustainability, and technical efficiency.
