Introduction: The Community Aid Group (CAG) of the Medicine course at Padre Albino University Center is an extension with the aim of promoting philanthropic projects that cater to individuals in need, ranging from children to adults. Among these projects, "Little Artists" stands out. This event provides an integration with children through art, music, and play. Members visited an orphanage called the Lola Zancaner Children's Home in the afternoon, bringing paints, music, and a ball for integration. Through art, these children can express themselves and showcase their talents, just as in dance. Objectives: To provide an environment for the orphanage children to express themselves through dance and music, fostering interaction with CAG members, which enables learning about the social reality of an orphanage and conveying love to the residents. Methods: Members visit the location, dividing into groups to engage with various children. Materials for canvas painting, such as paints, papers, and brushes, are provided, along with a space for dance expression. Subsequently, interactive activities and games are conducted, including playful games, soccer, and volleyball. Finally, a snack is offered to the children, and the day concludes. Results: The campaign was satisfactory, providing members with an understanding of the reality of an orphanage.Significant interaction with art was noted among the children, highlighting how art, whether in painting or expressive dance, can serve as a means of communication and expression. Another result was the happiness observed in the children upon the CAG's visit, indicating a lack of contact with others and underscoring the importance of projects targeting this audience. Conclusion: Children living in orphanages require social interaction with diverse individuals, emphasizing the benefits of such projects. Furthermore, artistic activities are seen to access areas of communication that might not otherwise be reached, affirming the importance of such stimulation for anyone.
