Introduction: Nowadays, ensuring profitability and competitiveness for a company to sustain its survival in the market has become a major challenge. Therefore, contemporary organizations seek new ways to adapt to the future of business. Innovation habitats are strategies for companies' competitiveness and innovation development. However, an important element for the establishment of a thriving environment is the diffusion of an innovation culture, which also takes into account the organizational climate, so that the pursuit of excellence and innovation is shared throughout the organization. Objectives: To demonstrate, through a literature review, the conditions that contribute to organizations being more efficient and innovative when the organizational climate is well established and how Innovation Habitats can contribute to the innovation process. Methodology: This study is a descriptive-exploratory literature review. The search for scientific literature was conducted throughout the year 2022, focusing on publications indexed in the Scientific Electronic Library Online (SciELO) and the Latin American and Caribbean Health Sciences Literature (LILACS), using the keywords: Organizational Climate, Innovation Habitat, Companies, and Organizations. Discussion and Results: The probability of failure for a new company in its early years is higher. This fact can be mitigated by applying strategies such as sharing the risks inherent in innovation development in innovation habitats, which are constituted by an innovation culture and a good climate of collaboration. In the LILACS database, 10 studies on innovation habitats and 363 on organizational climate were identified. In the SciELO database, 41 studies on organizational climate and companies were identified. Conclusions: Innovation habitats are suitable places for collaborative innovation development. Few studies address the need and importance of the organizational climate in these environments. The innovation culture can thrive only in environments where the organizational climate is favorable
