About

The regulation of gene expression is a complex process involved in determining cellular identity, the cell's response and adaptation to the environment, and the functioning of the organism. Therefore, its dysregulation is associated with several diseases, including cancer. With this relevant theme in mind, the "International Symposium of Gene Regulation 2025" has as its main proposal to present the latest and most innovative findings in the field of gene regulation in an online format to provide greater national and international reach. To this end, there will be lectures by renowned scientists in the area, oral presentations of the best-selected works, and discussions of abstracts presented in the form of videos, which will feature interaction tools between participants and presenters. The sessions will cover topics such as "Function of transcription factors," "Chromatin modifications and transcription," "Epigenetic regulation," "Transcriptional regulation during embryonic development and diseases," "Large-scale and multi-omics technologies," among others. With this, the event aims to disseminate recent and innovative discoveries in the field, promote discussions, and foster networking among participants.

The event will be held online via the Zoom platform from August 28 to 29, 2025.
