Vivencial maps and geographic creation in childhood: some notes

This article is part of the field of study of the Geography of Childhood and historical-cultural theory and is part of the research Socio-spatial perejivanie in child education institutions: cartography with children, funded by FAPEMIG. It intends to reflect on the importance of the imagination and geographic creation in childhood and, consequently, on the valuation of the logics and children's authorship concretized in their creations. For this, it uses the methodology of vivential maps and the narratives produced from them. The maps chosen to compose this text were produced during field research that had as subjects some of the children of a municipal school in the city of Juiz de Fora who generously participated in the whole process offering us their creations.
