Abstract

The objective of this research is to analyze the monitoring and evaluation information reported by basic sanitation (BS) solutions, based on Social Technology (ST) in the Legal Amazon. In this scenario, ST-based solutions are relevant for the territorial development of SB services to unassisted communities. The research is exploratory in nature and carries out a survey and content analysis of the experiences applied to SB, certified by the Banco do Brasil Foundation, implemented in the 9 states, from 2003 to 2021. As a result, 13 solutions were identified in 12 municipalities in the region, in addition to 8 water supply solutions, 2 sanitary sewage solutions and 3 solid waste management solutions. After the analysis, it was possible to verify that the STs monitored and evaluated had positive results, which does not prevent improvements at the time of their reapplication in the region.
