Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the public policy of Face-to-Face Teaching with Technological Mediation (EPMT) in the State of Amazonas. To this end, a documentary analysis was carried out regarding the education legislation and documents that clarified the reasons for the origin of the EPMT policy for face-to-face teaching. In addition, the application of financial resources and their respective financial information were analyzed to assess the scope of the policy. The investigation provided the design of the theory of politics and the results revealed that although it was initially designed to meet the demand of high school, its context was expanded, since it started to serve students of elementary school and Youth and Adult Education. In addition, it was identified that, in 17 years, approximately R$ 1 billion were invested and almost 300 thousand Amazonian citizens were benefited.
