Abstract

The main objective of this work was to analyze the digital transformation actions already carried out at the Federal University of Cariri - UFCA, considering that digital transformation is inserted in the context of several organizations and the incorporation and adaptation of its activities in the various segments is increasing. The typology of the research was characterized as an exploratory research, with the realization of a case study. A qualitative approach was used and was based on the analysis of documents, regulations and legislation. From the analysis, it was identified that issues related to digital transformation are contemplated in UFCA's strategic planning, through the PDI and that the requirements pointed out in decree 10.332/2020 have already been implemented. It is noteworthy that the activities foreseen in the PTD/UFCA were not implemented due to operational issues and IT personnel deficit. In addition, suggestions for improvements in the process were proposed and issues to be worked on in future research were pointed out.
