The Carioca Leadership Mentoring Project was created within the scope of the Carioca Leaders Program, a talent management program of the City of Rio de Janeiro, with the objective of leveraging the professional potential of Carioca Leaders, through the exchange of experiences that prepare them to work in more complex scenarios and assist in decision-making processes. Its creation is based on the results of the X-Ray of Carioca Leadership, a methodology for assessing the level of seniority and leadership profile, developed by the João Goulart Foundation Institute, which allowed us to know the potential of each Leader and how they could contribute to the achievement of the objectives of the City Hall. The results showed that 45.3% of the group has the need to improve socio-behavioral skills and team management. In this way, mentoring was created to provide individualized and guided development, aiming at expanding their career horizons.
