Abstract

The main objective of this article is to analyze the impact of artificial intelligence on the right to privacy, constitutionally guaranteed in Brazil, both in the legal and social spheres. The research adopts a broad approach, examining the use of AI in various areas, such as planning and diagnosis, evidencing its contribution to the development of science, culture and society, in addition to the use of AI also presents ethical and legal challenges, especially with regard to the protection of personal data. In the Brazilian context, the right to privacy is supported by laws that protect individual and collective rights. The article brings up issues such as transparency, algorithmic bias, and informational self-determination, highlighting the importance of ethical and regulatory oversight to ensure that technological advances respect the privacy and fundamental rights of individuals.
