Abstract

Propargylic amines are molecules with important function of neuroprotection and prevention of cell death1. Its use has grown in the production of multifunctional drugs with the aim of combating neurodegenerative disorders 1. Amine propargylic synthesis has been extensively investigated due its application in medicinal and material area. Indium and its salts is already known in amine propargylic synthesis.1 This methodology proposes to synthesize propargylic amines from 2-aminobenzothiazole2 derivatives via a multicomponent A3 reaction. The idea is performing a one-pot and solvent-free reaction using InCl3 as Lewis acid to afford an amine propargylic able to undergoing an internal cyclization. The proposal is to vary the types of 2-aminobenzothiazole along different aldehydes and alkynes. Furthermore, those proposed compound are brand new in literature and their potential application in medicinal chemistry are interesting as bioactive compound or as fluorescent molecular probe2
