Resumo

The objective of this study was to evaluate the dynamics of forage accumulation, managed under alternating grazing, with three supplementation strategies, the effect of supplementation on pasture and grazing animals throughout the dry season. Three forage species, Xaraés (Urochloa brizantha), Marandu (Urochloa Brizantha) and Massai (Panicum maximum) were used, divided into six paddocks of half a hectare each. The treatments were arranged in a completely randomized block design, under subdivided plot scheme, where the supplements (Mineral Mixture, Mineral Mixture + Additives and Protein-Energy Supplement) were distributed in the plots, and in the subplots, dry and dry). Thirty-six whole calves were harvested in a rearing, with a mean weight of 233 kg. The animals of the protein-energy treatment had a higher supplement consumption in relation to the treatments of Mineral Mixture and Mineral Mixture + additives, 0.508 grams / head / day, 0.138 grams / head / day and 0.094 grams / head / day, the daily weight gain of the animals was affected by the supplementation used where the highest consumption and greater weight gain was observed in the animals that consumed Proteico-energetico.
