Resumo

The corn silage consorted with soybean is an alternative to improve the nutritional quality of the food, however there are several doubts about technical aspects. The objective of this research was to evaluate the bromatological composition, as a function of nitrogen fertilization and inoculation with Azospirillum brasiliensis, in a soybean and corn intercropping system for silage production. It was tested eight treatments with nitrogen, together with the use of inoculant, and two monocultures, one soybean and the other corn, totaling ten treatments. No statistical differences were observed in the morphological components of the soybean and corn plants in the silage biomass and bromatological variables in the intercropping treatments. Statistical differences were observed between intercropped treatments and soybean in monocrop. Although no statistical difference was observed, the increase of soybean in corn silage may increase crude protein content when compared to exclusive corn silage.
