PRODUÇÃO TOTAL E DOS COMPONENTES ESTRUTURAIS DA PASTAGEM DE ESTRELA AFRICANA CONSORCIADA COM AZEVÉM E ERVILHACA NO PERÍODO DE PRIMAVERA

The objective of this work is to evaluate the success of the intercropping of winter pastures, legumes and perennial pastures in an irrigated production system on pasture structure in spring. The experimental design was a randomized block design with four treatments with three replicates. IRRIG = African Star (Cynodon nlemfuensis Vanderyst) + Oats + Ryegrass + Irrigation; IRRIG + LEG = African Star + Oats + Ryegrass + Vetch + Irrigation, SEMIRRIG (TEST) = African Star + Oat + Ryegrass; LEG = African star + Oat + Ryegrass + Vetch. During the spring period, there was no statistical difference for DM production of forage, leaf and stem, between treatments (P <0.10). Irrigation utilization or the legumes presence did not influence the production of leaves and stems.
