PERCEPÇÃO DE PRODUTORES LEITEIROS ACERCA DA IMPORTÂNCIA DA BRUCELOSE E TUBERCULOSE BOVINA NO MUNICÍPIO DE SENA MADUREIRA - AC

The objective was to evaluate the level of knowledge of milk producers regarding brucellosis and bovine tuberculosis. For this, 10 milk producers were interviewed, through the application of a structured questionnaire. The data obtained were analyzed using Excel software version 1803 for Windows 10. It was observed a predominance of the extensive rearing system, with animals kept under grazing conditions. It was observed that 70% (7/10) of the producers make purchases of animals directly from other properties, without requiring diagnostic tests for brucellosis and tuberculosis. According to the producers' perception of these diseases, 50% (5/10) consider these diseases to have a strong impact on production, 30% (3/10) consider it only a public health issue, and 20% (2/10) have no knowledge of it. These data show the need for intensification of public policies aimed at the development of educational programs for a better awareness on the part of producers.
