IMPACTO DA PRODUÇÃO DE LEITE CORRIGIDA E DA MASSA CORPORAL SOBRE A EFICIÊNCIA ALIMENTAR DE CABRAS LEITEIRAS

The aim of this work present milk yield corrected to 3.5% fat and body weight as factors that affect feed efficiency in dairy goats. For the development this study used individual data and average experiments performance with goats in lactation. Were evaluated milk yield corrected to 3.5% fat and body weight. The statistics analysis involved the application of descriptive measures and dispersion, and the Pearson correlation coefficient and linear regression analysis. The milk yield corrected to 3.5% fat had a very high correlation (0,89) (P<0,0001) with feed efficiency. The body weight had a very high correlation (-0,67) (P<0,05) with feed efficiency. The feed efficiency of lactating goats was affected by the correction of milk fat and the body weight. A correction for some of these factors imply greater precision in measuring feed efficiency.
