The effect of different storage periods under hatching eggs from breeder meat type quails were evaluated in a completely randomized experimental design, using four treatments (one; five; seven and nine days) and 65 eggs per treatments. Was evalueted hatching rate. Were observed effects of storage periods for hatching rate, with better hatchability observed in shorter storage periods evaluated. In this context, to improve hatching rates of meat type quails, the eggs should be stored up to five days at a temperature of 27°C to maintain 60% hatchability.
