Resumo

The objective of the present work was to evaluate the influence of the protected fats of soybean and palm, and the deactivated soybean grain on the nutrient digestibility of the food provided to the Pantaneira sheep. Twenty-five Pantaneira ewes were divided into 5 homogeneous groups, according to age, days of lactation and weight. The treatments were: control, soybean protected fat, protected palm fat, combination of protected fats, and deactivated soybean grain. The sheep were milked twice a day at 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. The digestibility was determined by means of internal marker by indigestible acid detergent fiber. The milk production was corrected for energetically milk (CEM) and for milk energy excretion (MEE). No difference (P > 0.05) in the digestibility of dry matter, organic matter, crude protein, ethereal extract, neutral detergent fiber, acid detergent fiber, total carbohydrate and total digestible nutrients was observed among the evaluated treatments, as did the variables of CEM and MEE. Protected fats and deactivated soybeans do not have a positive influence on nutrient digestibility of food, corrected energetically milk and milk energy excretion.
