Resumo

The creation of Buffalo in an objective confinement to supplement the animals for slaughter earlier and can be used as a strategy in the months of low forage availability.. The objective of this study was to evaluate the productive performance of ten uncastrated Buffaloes in feedlot with total grain diet. The experiment lasted de79 days, with 16 days of adaptation to diet and installations and 63 comparison. The treatments were divided into T1-100% concentrate, T2-70% concentrate and 30% corn silage based on dry matter (DM). The experimental design was randomized blocks. The animals were blocked by weight. It was determined, live weight (PV), daily weight gain (GMD), carcass weight and carcass yield. Data were analyzed using SAS with 0.05% of significance. There was no statistical difference in final live weight and average daily gain of buffaloes. The casting of buffaloes fed with a total grain diet was higher than with animals fed with a conventional diet.
