Resumo

The aim of this study was to evaluate the influence of protected fats of soybean and palm, and deactivated soybean grain in nutrient consumption and the influence on the milk production of Pantaneira sheep. Twenty-five Pantaneira ewes were divided into 5 homogeneous groups, according to age, days of lactation and weight. The treatments were: control (Con), soybean protected fat (SPF), protected palm fat (PPF), combination of protected fats (Blend) and deactivated soya grain (DSG). The daily intake was calculated by weighing the supply and overs of the concentrate and hay, considering that the animals had hay intake ad libitum. The sheep were milked twice a day at 7:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. Intake did not change among treatments, but milk production and milk yield by amount of concentrate consumed was higher in the treatment with SPF (0.454 kg / day and 0.75 kg / kg, respectively) and DSG (0.431 kg / day) and 0.72 kg / kg, respectively). The inclusion in the diet of sources of soybean fat increase of milk production and better efficiency in the conversion of kilograms of milk per kilogram of concentrate intake.
