Resumo

The objective of this study was to evaluate the intake and digestibility of sheep fed with total dietary silage. Nine sheeps were used, in which three contemporary 3x3 Latin squares were evaluated in periods of 15 days, with 10 days of adaptation and 5 days of collection of samples, totaling three periods. The diets used consisted of cane in natura, cane silage and total diet silage, which was made in the proportion of 50:50, that is, 50% of bulky and 50% concentrated. It was observed that total diet silage (P<0.05) showed increased intake of dry matter, organic matter and crude protein in relation to cane in natura and cane silage. Total dietary silage is an alternative to be used in sheep feeding, because it increases the consumption and digestibility of nutrients.
