CARACTERIZAÇÃO DO CONSUMO DE CARNE DE FRANGO NO MUNICIPIO DE GRANJA-CE

The objective was to characterize poultry consumption in Granja, CE. Three hundred and eighty two consumers answered a questionnaire. The questionnaires were applied in public market, grocery store, fridges and supermarkets, in the city Granja, covering different types of consumers. It was oberved that poultry is the meat in preference of consumers. Cut such as breast and drumstick are the most chosen by consumers. Products are chosen mainly by the taste and nutritive quality, whereas price is considered secondly.
