CARACTERÍSTICAS QUANTITATIVAS DO CAPIM-CONVERT HD364® SUBMETIDO A APLICAÇÃO DE ADUBO FOLIAR E UREIA NA VEDAÇÃO DO PASTO

The objective of the present study was to evaluate the population density of tillers, height, interception index and leaf area of Brachiaria Convert HD364® hybrids submitted to the application of foliar fertilization and urea in grass. The experiment was carried out at the Experimental Farm Capim Branco, Federal University of Uberlândia and consisted of 4 treatments with 4 replicates: fertilization with urea (50 kg of N/ha), fertilization with 2L of ORO-GRASS™/ha, fertilization with urea (50 kg of N/ha) and 2L of ORO-GRASS™/ha and the control treatment without any type of fertilization, being grouped in a completely randomized design. Evaluations have shown that fertilization with foliar fertilizers urea and ORO-GRASS™ led to an increase in growth rate, leaf area index and tillering of cultivars, with better results where urea was applied together with ORO-GRASS™. It can be concluded that the fertilization potentiates the development of pastures during the sealing period.
