Resumo

The use of inoculants in forages aims to increase their nutritional value, changing their bromatological characteristics, both in qualitative and quantitative values. The data used refer to the dry matter and pH of maize and were obtained from an experiment conducted at the University of Marília. The analyzes were carried out in the UFES bromatology laboratory, Campus Alegre with a completely randomized design, with subdivided plots in time, presenting for maize forage the main treatment with or without inoculant and the secondary treatment at the same time. The objective was to apply the methodology of analysis of subdivided plots to verify if there were significant differences in the bromatological characteristics of corn in the presence or absence of inoculants over time. For the two variables, in the treatments, the use of inoculant in corn silage did not have a significant response when compared by means of the subdivided plot.
