Resumo

The use of inoculants in forages aims to increase their nutritional value, especially when it comes to the various benefits, both qualitative and quantitative. The data analyzed in this research are dry matter and forage sugar cane pH, obtained from an experimental test carried out at the University of Marília, where the analyzes were carried out at the UFES, Campus Alegre, bromatology laboratory. The experiment was installed in a completely randomized design, with subdivided plots, where the measurements were carried out at different times, under the main treatments with or without inoculants and the secondary treatment, time. The objective of this work was to verify if there were significant differences in the use of inoculant in the bromatological characteristics of the fodder in question. With the exception of the isolated days, the use of inoculant favored the increase of the percentage of dry matter, being 21.01% for cane without inoculant and 22.57% for cane with inoculant.
