Introduction
Despite being relatively frequently mentioned in the literature, issues related to stakeholder experiences and experience mapping remain under-researched and unsystematized. It can be observed that more attention is paid to the experiences of customers than to those of other stakeholders, while in the museum context, the focus is primarily on visitors, by using methods such as questionnaires or observations. In this regard, it can be noted that the area requires further exploration.
Goals and Methods
Therefore, the aim of the project is to systematize and explore the experiences and museum stakeholder journeys from a multi-stakeholder perspective. To achieve this goal, the multiple case study method will be employed with the qualitative methods such as observations, in-depth interviews, as well as methods from the field of user experience will be selected. The methodological challenges here concern both the need to use different research techniques and tools, as well as integrating the perspectives of different stakeholders.
Results
The project is ongoing, therefore the expected results concern deepening and systematizing the concept of experience from the perspective of stakeholders other than visitors, but also proposing a tool that will allow for verifying and mapping the path of stakeholders' experiences.
Conclusions
The concept of experience is a multifaceted and highly contextual issue, but from the perspective of a highly competitive environment, it is important to examine this issue more closely and to propose a tool that will allow for the systematization and exploration of this concept in other organizations or organizational contexts. This will also be an attempt to broaden the scope of issues that have been firmly established in the literature to date.
