Introduction
Numbers are used in quantitative research to characterise a sample, document what is known about a problem, and determine the significance of a research project. Given that numbers have an impact on meaning, using numbers is critical in qualitative research. Numbers are used similarly in qualitative research.
Goals and Methods
The aim of this study is to create a more effective and tailored approach to guiding students in their research endeavors by applying principles of andragogy to the supervision of postgraduate research. The goal of this research is to conduct a Qualitative Evidence Systematic Review, which is a review of research literature focusing on a single question and claims the role of systematic reviews in evidence-based practises. To provide an answer to the question, "What impact will andragogy have on the research solution in postgraduate supervision?" A qualitative Evidence Systematic will be conducted using the PICO framework (Population/Place; Intervention; Comparator; Outcome). The PRISMA flow diagram will be used to critically appraise articles for eligibility, and the CASP assessment tool will be used to screen for relevance and duplicates.
This method will be used to analyse data both deductively (using a positivist approach) and interpretively (using an interpretivist approach) in order to better understand phenomena.
Results
The findings are expected to add to the body of knowledge on this phenomenon.
Conclusions
When combined with an overall process orientation to the research, the use of numbers is a legitimate and valuable strategy for qualitative researchers.
